Healthcare spending will increase as global economy growth picks up, says Sundaram Mutual Fund

The world economy's revival will lead to increase in healthcare spending, said Sunil Subramaniam, CEO of Sundaram Mutual Fund, adding that strengthening of the dollar inherently is a support for exports in pharma sector.

"IT wave of the last three months is now translating into the pharma ... I think there are specific good quality companies which got hurt previously are now picking up,” he said.
