Feb 20, 2020 12:03 PM

Eyewear solutions company Lenskart is getting ready to double its store count to hit a thousand stores by 2022.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Peyush Bansal, the company's co-founder and CEO, said Lenskart may go public in the next 3-4 years.

"So far we have raised close to $400 million and most of it has come recently. We haven't deployed any of it yet. The plan is to deploy most of it in technology and manufacturing. This is raised for over 5 years and this year we will look at investing around $50 million in manufacturing," he said.
