October S&P Global US Flash Manufacturing, Services Measures Both Rise

09:51 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The October flash reading of manufacturing conditions from S&P Global rose to a reading of 52.2 from 52.0 in September, compared with an expected reading of 52.0 in a survey compiled by Bloomberg.

The gain follows mixed reading in the regional manufacturing sector readings from the New York, Philadelphia and Kansas Federal Reserve banks.

The index for services conditions rose to 55.2 in October from 54.2 in September, compared with expectations for a decline to 53.5. Services reading from the New York and Philadelphia Fed banks fell further below their breakeven points.
