PSB privatisation: Govt working on amendments to banking companies & regulation act

The government is working on amendments to the banking companies act and banking regulation act for public sector bank (PSB) privatisation. The government is right now in the middle of studying what the consequences of these amendments are going to be. The aim is to do something and bring something in the budget session itself but this is a one-month session. There will be a whole process that is required and the government is already on it.
