Reliance Industries on Thursday launched JioGigaFiber, a wired broadband service, which is seen as seen as a direct attempt by the Reliance group to expand its market disruptive service to the broadband sector.
The launch happened at the 41st annual general meeting (AGM), where Mukesh Ambani said the company is running the beta trials for JioGigaFiber and which will be launched across 1,100 cities in India.
It offers connections with 1.1 terabyte free data at a speed of 100 mbps and people can start registering through MyJio App and Jio.com from August 15.
