Sonata Software expects to do better compared to industry in FY19
Jun 27, 2018 5:40 AM

We expected to do better compared to industry in FY19, said Prasanna Oke, Chief Financial Officer, Sonata Software.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Oke said we are planning to split our business in two segments, international and domestic.

"In domestic business, we measure our margins only and not the topline, because a lot of deals have larger margins or smaller margins. We grew about 6 percent year-on-year," he added.

Oke further said both domestic and international businesses are growing exactly the way we wanted to.

According to Oke, intellectual property business contributed five percent at

earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) level in domestic business.

Sonata Software has a market capitalisation of Rs 3,330 crore and the stock is up 111 percent in last one year.
