07:31 AM EDT, 06/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The US dollar fell against its major trading partners early Monday ahead of an unusually busy week of economic data, with a focus on gross domestic product and personal income and spending data later in the week.

The week starts light with only manufacturing data from the Dallas Federal Reserve on the schedule at 10:30 am ET and an appearance by San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly, a voter on the Federal Open Market Committee this year, at 2:00 pm ET.

Tuesday's calendar is full, highlighted by weekly Redbook same store sales, home price data, and consumer confidence. Wednesday's schedule includes new home sales and weekly mortgage applications and petroleum stocks data.

The final reading for Q1 GDP, advance trade data and weekly jobless claims are the highlights for Thursday, followed by personal income, spending and price data, and the University of Michigan's final June consumer sentiment reading Friday.
