US looks at 8% defense budget cut in each of next 5 years, Washington Post reports

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The administration of President Donald Trump has ordered senior leaders at the Pentagon and throughout the U.S. military to develop plans for 8% cuts to the defense budget in each of the next five years, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday, citing a memo and officials familiar with the matter.
