U.S. Treasury Secretary to begin Fed chair interviews Friday, WSJ reports

(Reuters) -U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will launch a series of interviews on Friday to select the next Federal Reserve chair, with the process extending into next week, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
