Research Alert: CFRA Keeps Buy Opinion On Shares Of Alliancebernstein Holding L.p.
Jul 25, 2025 10:45 PM

03:45 PM EDT, 07/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target price by $4, to $46, valuing AB shares (which currently yield nearly 8%) at 11.8x our '26 adjusted EPs estimate of $3.90 (trimmed today by $0.10) and at 13.2x our '25 EPS estimate of $3.49 (lowered by $0.09), versus the shares' 3YR average forward multiple of 12.1x ad a peer average of 14x. AB posted Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.76 versus $0.71 in Q2 '24, about in line with the $0.77 consensus view, but shy of our $0.85 EPS estimate. GAAP revenue growth of 6% in Q2 was in line with our 4% to 8% revenue growth forecast, reflecting the impact of the mid-2024 sale/spinoff of Bernstein Research Services; and including a 4% rise in base fee revenues and an 11% drop in performance fee revenues. Q2 assets under management (AUM) rose 8% year to year as market appreciation helped to offset net outflows of $6.7B (versus year ago net inflows of $900M). While the Q2 net outflows temper our view, investor sentiment has stabilized, which should aid fund flow trends. We view AB, which is 60% owned by Equitable (Holdings Inc. (EQH 53 ***) as undervalued versus peers.
