01:00 AM EDT, 07/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
Our 12-month target price of $25, cut by $3, reflects a combination of our relative valuation model (80% weighting) and our DCF model (20% weighting). On a relative basis, we apply a 6x multiple of EV to projected 2026 EBITDA, well below HAL's historical forward average, but merited by ongoing margin pressure that may take time to turn around. That approach yields a value of $23 per share. Our DCF model, using free cash flow growth of 2.7%, terminal growth of 2.5%, with a WACC of 7.9%, yields a value of $31 per share. We cut our 2025 EPS estimate by $0.37 to $2.24, and similarly 2026's by $0.46 to $2.40. HAL warned of ongoing weakness in the C&P segment, but some of the weakness extends beyond North America, including to Saudi Arabia frac activity. We now model an earnings recovery that is slower than previously anticipated, but we also think consensus views on 2026 oil prices are too pessimistic. Ultimately, we think a stronger recovery is in the 2027 timeframe.
