01:20 PM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
After digesting Q3 FY 25 earnings, we decrease our 12-month target price by $3 to $30, 11.5x our 2026 EPS estimate, a premium to RF's five-year forward P/E average of 10.1x given an improving regulatory environment and exciting balance sheet growth prospects. We raise our 2025 EPS estimate by $0.02 to $2.39 but decrease 2026's by $0.03 to $2.62. Our revenue projections are $7.6 billion and $8.0 billion, respectively. After a strong Q2, we were disappointed with net income this quarter, which failed to grow and led to a reduction in Regions' 2025 net interest income guidance to up 3%-4% from the prior 4%-5%. However, this was more than offset by record wealth management and capital markets revenue in Q3, with Regions increasing its fee income guidance by 150 basis points to up 4%-5%. Looking at 2026, we expect Regions to outperform the peer group given its attractive Southeast branch footprint, capital markets momentum, and superior deposit pricing power. Shares yield 4.6% versus the S&P 500 at just 1.1%.
