01:00 AM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We raise our 12-month target price by $15 to $510, valuing Berkshire's class B shares at 23x our 2026 operating EPS estimate of $21.80, versus their three-year average forward multiple of 22.7x. We lift our Q3 operating EPS estimate by $0.15 to $5.55, and our 2025 operating EPS estimate to $20.65 (from $20.50), reflecting our expectation that Q3 underwriting results (particularly at GEICO) will be aided by the absence of any meaningful hurricane activity in Q3. That aside, we expect operating revenue growth, firm-wide, to be muted, and we still see operating revenues flat to up 5% in 2025. We expect 2025 to be a transitional year for Berkshire, largely due to the significant managerial changes amid Warren Buffett's upcoming retirement at year end. At current levels, the shares trade at 24x our 2025 EPS estimate, a premium to their historical average. Against the backdrop of this significant management transition and some tepid near-term results, we view the shares as fairly valued.
