02:25 PM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
BG provided new segment reporting on October 15, along with a revised full-year outlook, following the recently-closed Viterra deal. The company is now combining processing and refining activities into the same segment but is splitting soybean and softseeds into separate segments. BG now sees full-year adjusted EPS between $7.30 and $7.60, below its previous guidance of about $7.75 but still better than the $6.99 consensus. The revised outlook reflects shares issued as part of the Viterra acquisition, partially offset by share buybacks. BG had about 136M of weighted average shares outstanding as of Q2 (prior to Viterra), but now sees a full-year weighted average share count of 166M and a 2H 2025 weighted average share count of 197M. This incorporates about 6.7M shares repurchased in Q3. We adjust our 2025 EPS estimate to $7.46 (from $7.41) and our 2026 EPS to $8.13 (from $8.69). We lift our 12-month target price to $97 from $85, about 12x our 2026 EPS and in line with the company's long-term mean.
