01:00 AM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
Our 12-month target price of $101, raised by $1, reflects a combination of our relative valuation and DCF models. On a relative basis, we apply a 5.3x multiple of enterprise value to projected 2026 EBITDA, in line with COP's historical forward average. That approach yields a value of $89 per share. Our DCF model, which utilizes a free cash flow growth rate of 3.3% per year for 10 years and 2.0% thereafter, discounted at a WACC of 6.0%, finds an intrinsic value of $113 per share. We lift our 2025 EPS estimate by $0.05 to $6.47, but trim our 2026 estimate by $0.28 to $6.67. COP has grand plans for several major capital projects related to LNG and to Alaska (Willow), and those projects are the linchpins of its plan to build an incremental $7B in free cash flow between 2025 and 2029. However, we think project execution will be critical. We also think that the near-term pricing picture looks mediocre.
