11:05 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We lift our 12-month target by $1 to $31, about 11x our 2026 EPS estimate of $2.78 (up from $2.75; 2025 raised to $2.65 from $2.59) vs. the 16x long-term average. We believe the stock warrants a discount given weak top-line trends, margin compression, and policy-related risks (e.g., SNAP, Make America Healthy Again). Q2 results showed sequential improvement from Q1, but KHC appears to be sacrificing margin to stabilize sales. The company expects 5-7% cost inflation this year, while pricing is only expected to rise about 1%. As such, cost savings will be a key lever going forward, with KHC tracking toward around 4% productivity gains in 2025. Still, we expect a mid-teens EPS decline in 2H 2025 compared to the 11% decline we saw in 1H 2025. We believe KHC is pursuing various strategic options (potentially a spin-off of slower-growing businesses) to unlock shareholder value, particularly in light of years of underperformance and a depressed valuation. Shares currently offer a dividend yield of about 5.5%.
