Research Alert: CFRA Keeps Sell Opinion On Shares Of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.
Nov 17, 2025 1:20 PM

03:50 PM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target by $2 to $59, 13.4x our next-12-month (2026) EPS estimate, a discount relative to IFF's three-year average forward P/E of 19.4x. We lift our 2025 EPS view by $0.03 to $4.26, trim 2026 by $0.01 to $4.49, and initiate 2027 at $4.86. IFF delivered Q3 results showing strategic transformation amid headwinds, with net sales declining 8% to $2.69B on divestitures, but comparable sales remained flat. Adjusted EPS improved to $1.05, reflecting operational efficiency gains. We believe the $100M R&D investment (vs. $20M in the prior year) signals confidence in an innovation-led recovery. IFF is executing an evolution from ingredient supplier to higher-value solutions provider, with operational excellence providing competitive differentiation as conditions normalize. We see sales continuing to struggle over the next few years, falling 6.2% in 2025 and another 1.8% in 2026, followed by some improvement in 2027 with a 3.3% rebound. This equates to a -1.7% three-year CAGR from 2024 to 2027.
