Research Alert: CFRA Keeps Strong Buy Opinion On Shares Of Arch Capital Group Ltd.
Aug 4, 2025 1:09 AM

03:50 AM EDT, 08/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We keep our 12-month target price of $110, valuing ACGL shares at 11x our 2026 operating EPS estimate, versus its one year average forward multiple of 11.4x and a peer average of 13x. We raise our 2025 operating EPS estimate by $0.24, to $8.30, after ACGL posted Q2 operating EPS of $2.58 versus $2.57 a share, topping our $2.34 EPS estimate and the $2.30 consensus view, on a 20% rise in operating revenues (the upper end of our 15% to 20% forecasted rate of operating revenue growth). While underwriting results deteriorated, year over year, they remained profitable and superior to industry averages, as evidenced by the Q2 combined ratio of 81.2% versus 78.7%. Currently trading at 10.4x our 2025 operating EPS estimate and at only 8.7x our 2026 EPS estimate, we view the shares as undervalued versus peer and historical averages, and we see ACGL's above-peer top-line growth and underwriting metrics providing the shares a catalyst to close its valuation gap to peers and historical averages.
