Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Alphabet Inc.
Oct 30, 2025 9:25 AM

11:55 AM EDT, 10/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target to $330 from $270, on higher revised P/E of 26.1x our '27 EPS, above historical but within our universe of mega-cap tech peers. After generating better-than-expected Q3 revenue and EPS, we increase our '25 EPS to $10.87 from $9.99, '26 to $10.92 from $10.72, and '27 to $12.66 from $12.01. We come away from Q3 more optimistic about all of GOOG's core business lines, as AI is fueling incremental query growth in Search through AI Overviews and AI mode (AI mode usage doubled seq. to 75M DAUs), with the potential to further monetize the platform in the coming years (e.g., ads placement in AI mode). YouTube ( GOOG ) is benefiting from greater direct response advertising, with YouTube Shorts enhancing user engagement and monetization (Shorts now earns more revenue per dollar than traditional in-stream video). Cloud backlog growth (+45% seq. and +80% Y/Y) warrants higher capex, but we think GOOG's infrastructure/emphasis on building offerings on its internal models is driving efficiencies.
