Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Apollo Global Management Inc.
Aug 5, 2025 12:39 PM

03:25 PM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We leave our $170 target price unchanged, using a forward P/E of 18.0x our 2026 earnings estimate, compared to the five-year historical average of 20.3x and peer average of 19.5x. We are reducing our EPS estimates in 2025 by $0.10 to $7.90 and 2026's by $0.15 to $9.40, which is still a more optimistic view of the fundamental outlook than the consensus, at $7.70 and $9.20 per share, respectively. On a peer group valuation, we find it interesting that ALT firms like Blackstone Inc. (BX 168 *****) and KKR & Co. Inc. (KKR 143 ****) currently trade in the low-to-mid 20x range, compared to APO. In our opinion, the public equity market does not reward APO's share price for having a more concentrated AUM portfolio in private credit and less diversification in private equity, real estate, or other real asset investment classes. APO has a leading position in insurance with Athene, which is a reliable contributor to performance and steady growth as a leader in retirement services offering annuity products.
