Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Axon Enterprise, Inc.
Aug 8, 2025 2:20 AM

04:55 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We increase our 12-month target price by $29 to $992, as we assume AXON will trade at a forward P/E of 95.0x our 2027 EPS estimate, which is a discount to the historical average forward P/E for AXON during the last 12 months of 100.1x. We raise our EPS estimates across the board: 2025 goes to $6.75 from $6.28, 2026 goes to $8.27 from $8.04, and 2027 is now $10.44 from $10.29. AXON delivered Q2 revenue of $669 million (+33% Y/Y), beating consensus by 4.3%. Management raised 2025 guidance to $2.65-2.73 billion (+29% Y/Y midpoint, up from +27% at midpoint). Software revenue grew 39% Y/Y to $292 million, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) reaching $1.2 billion. The AI Era Plan generated $150 million in Q2 bookings, demonstrating rapid AI adoption. We think AXON will continue to benefit from secular tailwinds, including chronic law enforcement staffing shortages (86% of agencies understaffed) and accelerating demand for AI-powered productivity tools that reduce administrative burden and enhance officer safety.
