Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Hold Opinion Of Shares Of Arc Resources Ltd.
May 26, 2025 12:51 AM

01:20 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We maintain our 12-month target price of CAD30 as ARX executes as forecasted. Our target price is based upon an average of an EV/EBITDA multiple of 6.0x our 2026 EBITDA projection and a P/E multiple of 9.5x our 2026 EPS. We lower our EPS estimates to CAD2.57 from CAD2.59 for 2025 and to CAD2.84 from CAD2.85 for 2026. Production growth of 6% came almost entirely from Attachie's contributions (31k boe/d in Q1 versus 2.4k previous year). Pricing improved with natural gas jumping 31% Y/Y, which led to CAD400M in free cash flow in the quarter. Management guided to CAD1.3-1.5B for 2025 (down from CAD1.8B previously). ARX remains confident in its strategy to return 100% of free cash flows to shareholders throughout the year, predominantly through aggressive share buybacks that could reduce share count by mid-single-digits. This remains an attractive story, but one well understood by the market.
