02:10 AM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
Our Hold rating is based on ARX's production growth and free cash flow prospects being dampened by what has been a weaker natural gas environment. Since its transformative acquisition of Seven Generations in 2021, production has grown at a 6.3% CAGR. This mid-single-digit growth should continue over the intermediate term, as Attachie Phase I (2024) and Phase II (2028) begin to contribute near full capacity (40 mboe/d). We raise our target price to CAD30 on better production expectations despite what has been a weaker gas pricing environment. A key driver of the story is the share buyback strategy from management. YTD, share buybacks are lagging our full-year expectations; however, H2 should see higher production and cash flows. All eyes will be on gas pricing, as it has been weaker than EIA expectations, and should the trend continue, it will hinder the share reduction story. Our EPS estimates are CAD2.59 for 2025 and CAD2.98 for 2026.
