10:40 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We increase our 12-month target price by $4 to $90, applying an EV/EBITDA multiple of 27.5x to our 2025 estimate, a premium to its three-year historical average multiple at 19.1x. We believe a premium is warranted to the three-year average as CCI transitions into a pure-play tower operator following the fiber sale. We increase our 2025 FFO estimate by $0.06 to $3.80 and decrease 2026's by $0.19 to $4.64. Management continues to have no concerns about regulatory approval for the fiber sale, but note they need approval from all operating states and federal clearance following two separate regulatory reviews. We see CCI management focused on their current CEO search for candidates with U.S. tower experience and a strong capital allocation background to help balance dividends and buybacks post-sale. Former CEO Jay Brown stepped down in early 2024 followed by Steven Moskowitz's termination in March, less than a year after joining as CEO. We hope this turnover doesn't signal deeper organizational or governance issues.
