02:05 PM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We raise our 12-month target by $5 to $135, based on a 2026 P/E of 9.5x, a slight premium to the stock's five-year forward P/E of 9.4x which we view as justified by early-cycle market conditions. We lower our adjusted EPS estimates to $13.85 from $14.20 for 2025, to $14.15 from $14.45 for 2026, and introduce 2027's at $15.10. Following a disappointing Q3 earnings release, we maintain a Sell on PAG shares. PAG posted Q3 EPS of $3.23 vs $3.39 last year (-5%), below the $3.38 consensus. Revenue rose 1.4% to $7.70B ($20M below consensus) and gross margin contracted 20 bps to 16.2% (in line with consensus). PAG's sluggish top-line growth remains concerning, in addition to its slowing pace of share repurchases. We continue to maintain a preference for auto dealerships with greater domestic exposure, noting that PAG's non-U.S. operations accounted for 38% of Q3 total revenue between the U.K. (27%) and Other International (11%). In our view, these characteristics justify a valuation discount relative to PAG's peers.
