Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Strong Buy Opinion On Shares Of Hasbro, Inc.
Jul 23, 2025 9:14 AM

11:45 AM EDT, 07/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month price target by $16 to $97, based on 20x our 2026 EPS estimate and above the company's five-year average forward P/E multiple of 16.7x, but in line with the company's pre-pandemic multiple. We raise our 2025 and 2026 EPS estimates by $0.10 to $4.60 and $0.10 to $4.85, respectively. HAS posted normalized Q2 EPS of $1.30 vs. $1.22, $0.53 above consensus estimates on revenues of $981M vs. $995M, $99M above estimates. By segment in Q2, Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming increased 16% Y/Y, Consumer Products declined 14%, and Entertainment declined 15%. Q2 operating profit was essentially flat Y/Y at $247M, which the company credited to the strength of Magic: The Gathering. HAS also raised its full-year guidance across the board. We believe Hasbro ( HAS ) is the best positioned among peers to overcome the tariff headwinds due to its Digital segment and cost savings plans. We expect the Consumer Products segment to trough over the next four quarters and contribute to growth in 2026.
