Research Alert: CFRA Raises Opinion On Shares Of Aon Plc To Buy From Hold
Nov 10, 2025 10:04 PM

12:30 AM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We trim our 12-month target price by $10 to $400, valuing AON shares at 18.6x our newly initiated 2027 adjusted EPS estimate of $21.50 and at 20.9x our 2026 EPS estimate of $19.10, versus its three-year average forward multiple of 21x and a peer average of 18x. We raise our 2025 EPS estimate by $0.13 to $16.99. AON posted Q3 EPS of $3.05 versus $2.72 (beating our $2.87 EPS estimate and the $2.91 consensus view) on 7% higher revenues and wider margins (20.4% versus 16.7%). Year-to-date revenue growth of 12% is above many peers and in line with our 2025 forecast of 7% to 12% growth. Our upgrade reflects our view that, following a recent pullback in the shares, they are undervalued, currently trading at 18x our 2026 EPS estimate, a 14% discount to their historical averages. Although our view is tempered by a more competitive insurance pricing environment, we view AON's above-peer rate of revenue growth, margin expansion, and restructuring progress as catalysts for the shares.
