Research Alert: CFRA Raises Opinion On Shares Of Hyatt Hotels Corporation To Hold From Sell
May 26, 2025 12:29 AM

12:30 PM EDT, 05/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target to $124 from $111, based on a 2025 EV/EBITDA multiple of 12x versus its 11x-15x three-year trading range. We lift our 2025 EPS to $3.99 from $3.07 and our 2026 EPS to $4.03 from $3.23. We raise our estimates to reflect H's shift toward franchising, which now reflects 80% of H's earnings. This is improving the company's margin profile quicker than we anticipated. We also see strong international travel trends, particularly inbound to Asia-Pacific, along with U.S. business and group transient seeing momentum, which is helping drive growth outside of H's luxury portfolio, where RevPAR growth was strongest. New Upper Midscale brands, Hyatt Select and Hyatt Studios, plans to expand into suburban, interstate, and small metro markets, potentially capturing market share. Following shares' 24% decline YTD and market multiples closer to their longer-term average, we now see shares as fairly valued with improving fundamentals. Thus, we lift our opinion to Hold.
