Research Alert: CFRA Raises Opinion On Shares Of Urban Outfitters To Buy From Hold
Aug 28, 2025 10:51 AM

01:35 PM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month price target by $17 to $86, based on 15x our FY 27 (Jan.) EPS estimate and above the company's three- and five-year average forward P/E multiples of 11.8x and 12.3x, respectively. We raise our FY 26 EPS estimate by $0.60 to $5.20 and FY 27's by $0.75 to $5.75. URBN posted normalized Q2 FY 26 (Jan.) of $1.58 vs. $1.24 in Q2 FY 25, $0.10 above consensus estimates on revenues of $1.50 billion vs. $1.35 billion last year, $25 million above estimates. By brand in FQ2, Anthropologie revenues increased 6.7% Y/Y, Free People increased 13.7%, Urban Outfitters ( URBN ) increased 5.2%, and Nuuly increased 53%. We can no longer ignore the strength in the company's Free People and Anthropologie brands. URBN continues to open stores to add to top-line growth while also growing margins in the current tariff environment. We believe the company is deserving of an above-peer multiple in the mid-teens and expect continued top-line momentum over the next few years as new store openings drive growth.

Key takeaways Treasury bonds are government securities that pay a fixed interest rate every six months. Best bond funds for retirement investors
Sep 30, 2024
When it comes to saving for retirement, investors generally use a combination of equity and fixed income investments. If you're young and retirement is still far off, your portfolio is more likely to hold mostly equity (stock-based) investments because you have a long time to make up for any short-term fluctuations in the markets. And then as you approach retirement,...
