02:00 PM EDT, 06/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
Live entertainment and ticketing are strong franchises for LYV that support its wider risk premium in a healthy U.S economy. We are raising our target price by $15 to $170 using a forward TEV/EBTIDA of 13.6x our 2026 EBITDA estimate of $2.9B, near the consensus estimate and below the three-year and 10-year historical averages at 14.1x and 14.6x, respectively. Our EPS estimates are unchanged at $2.70 in 2025 and $3.25 in 2026. The company is sensitive to higher ticket pricing for leading artists and has broken out event sales where there is a premium for the best seats in the arena and affordable ticketing in the back of the house. While we note some stirrings in Washington around the antitrust pricing power LYV has with Ticketmaster and concerts, we think the Trump administration will not pursue this further. No direct competitor has LYV's portfolio of great businesses and global reach. We think this should lead to future growth with capital investment in new owned venues. Advertising sponsors should continue to flock to LYV due to its global scale and consumer reach.
