06:50 AM EDT, 07/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We maintain our 12-month target of $11, based on a 2026 P/E of 9.2x, a justified premium to historic averages. We raise our adj. EPS estimates to $1.10 (from $1.00) for 2025 and to $1.20 (from $1.15) for 2026. F posted Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.37 vs. $0.47 (-21%), ahead of the $0.33 consensus. The beat resulted from a stronger-than-expected top line, as automotive revenue rose 4.8% to $46.9B ($3.0B ahead of consensus) and adjusted EBIT margin contracted 150 bps to 4.3%. Ford reinstated full year adjusted EBIT guidance at $6.5B-$7.5B, the midpoint of which is above the current consensus of $6.8B. While F reported a slight beat, we think investors were hopeful for a larger beat and more constructive guidance given the strength of its U.S. auto sales in Q2 (+14% Y/Y). In our view, management's execution has been lackluster over the last few years, and we think patience regarding the long-ago promised Ford+ turnaround has worn thin. We maintain a Hold rating on valuation, seeing better opportunities across the space.
