03:20 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
After Q2 earnings, we keep our $46 target price, based on a P/E of 18.6x our 2026 EPS estimate, below its historical avg. and that of its peers, given our expectations of slower revenue growth due to a competitive landscape and uncertain hiring trends. We raise our 2025 EPS view by $0.14 to $2.20 (vs. consensus of $2.27) and 2026's by $0.15 to $2.47 (vs. consensus of $2.70). Despite a Q2 beat, shares are down 2% intraday, which we believe reflects investor concerns over slowing revenue growth trends that align with our previous cautionary outlook. Dayforce ( DAY ) recurring revenue growth of 14% in Q2 2025 was in line with Q1 2025 (+14%) but was a sharp deceleration from Q2 2024 (+20%). Our updated projections are for total revenue growth of 10% in 2025 and 9% in 2026, as we continue to see the impact of declining legacy Bureau revenue and flattening float income. Additionally, new user growth on the platform appears to be moderating. We expect live Dayforce ( DAY ) customers to grow 5% in both 2025 and 2026 vs. 8% in 2024.
