With a slew of demonstrations and protests by opposition parties, various student bodies and organisations, authorities across the country have imposed prohibitory orders in many places, including Delhi's Red Fort.Historian Ramchandra Guha and Swarajya Party leader, Yogendra Yadav were detained along with scores of protestors.The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation shut 20 metro stations in view of anti-CAA protests.The Dehli High Court meanwhile refused to grant interim protection to protesting students and issued a notice to the Centre, the Delhi government and the police on a PIL seeking setting up of a fact-finding committee to look into violence at the Jamia Millia Islamia.
