Amplitude of upside and downside in markets getting magnified: Oaklane Capital
Dec 23, 2020 8:41 AM

On CNBC-TV18's special show Investment Guide, Kuntal Shah, founding partner at Oaklane Capital Management discussed how investors should avoid losers, hold on to winners and pick the multi-bagger stocks in the market.

Shah said, "Human beings are at the centre of everything. Small changes in human psychology tends to produce exaggerated and amplified changes in the asset prices and this time has not been any different."

He said, "If you are a long term investor you would pray for constant volatility to give you opportunity to buy the businesses you like and understand on and off at valuations which you are comfortable. Volatility also gives opportunity to take advantage of the people who are forced sellers during periods of dislocation."
