Technical analysts Mitessh Thakkar of earningwaves.com and Sudarshan Sukhani of Technical Trends share their top stock picks for the day.

From Mitessh Thakkar

Mitessh Thakkar's first buy call of the day is on Godrej Consumer Products. He recommends this with a stop loss of ₹1,003 for an upside target of ₹1,060. Shares have gained more than 5% in the last month.

He recommends a buy call on Gail with a stop loss of ₹122 for targets ₹128. The stock has remained flat in the past month.

Apollo Hospitals is another buy call from Mitessh Thakkar. His recommendation comes with target of ₹5,300 and a stop loss of ₹5,100. The stock has gained more than 1% in the last month.

Thakkar has buy on L&T Finance Holdings with a stop loss of ₹138 for a target of ₹147. Shares have gained more than 2% over the last month.

From Sudarshan Sukhani

Sukhani finds a buying opportunity in Bajaj Auto. He advises traders to keep a stop loss of ₹5,200. Shares have gained more than 7% over the last month.

Coal India is another buy call from Sudarshan Sukhani. Stop loss is to be placed at ₹300. The stock has gained more than 8% in the last month.

Sukhani's only intraday short is on Dalmia Bharat. For this he advises a stop loss of ₹2,100. Shares are down more than 6% over the last month.

Lastly, Sukhani recommends a buy on Infosys. He advises a stop loss of ₹1,370. Shares are down more than 6% over the last month.
