Are markets ignoring hurdles in the US stimulus package?

The equity markets have seen a sharp rise recently but the near 700 point fall on Monday shows that there are risks in the near term.

The uncertainty over the US fiscal stimulus package has returned after president Donald Trump expressed disapproval of $2.3 trillion omnibus spending package. Trump wants to see COVID relief checks risen to $2,000 as against current $600.

CNBC-TV18’s Prashant Nair explains if the markets are ignoring the hurdles the US stimulus package is suddenly facing now.
