To get a macro picture view of what is ahead of us in the upcoming decade, Big Deal spoke with Kaku Nakhate, President and India Head, Bank of America. Nakhate spoke about new deal dynamics, future outlook for merger and acquisitions (M&As) and new normal in new times.

“We are at an inflection of a new decade and lot of things in the next 10 years are likely to happen,” she said in an interview with CNBC-TV18.
“There could be an asset bubble, there is clearly a changing demographics, you are seeing disruptions in business models, there is deflationary debt profiles and the climate change clearly is what we are going to see in the next ten years. Hence the investing trends that are worth reviewing and thinking about is where we clearly think weak globalization is likely to come to an end or rather everybody started looking just like us in Aatmanirbhar Bharat, people are going to see how they can restrict movement of capital goods as well as labour in the coming years to protect their own countries,” she said.
