Buy Biocon, Axis Bank & Dewan Housing Finance, says Motilal Oswal’s Rahul Shah
Apr 1, 2019 3:20 AM

Ashwani Gujral, Sudarshan Sukhani, and Rahul Shah of Motilal Oswal discusses with Prashant Nair and Ekta Batra their readings and outlook on market technical and F&O side of the market as well as specific stocks and sectors. They also answered viewer stock queries.

They spoke at length about Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, Lupin, BHEL, Tata Motors DVR, Aurobindo Pharma, Maruti Suzuki India, Biocon, Axis Bank and Dewan Housing Finance.

Sudarshan Sukhani’s recommendations are, “Bajaj Finserv is a buying opportunity, the stock has done very well and that momentum should continue. Tech Mahindra is a buy another stock where there was a soft sideways move and a beginning of a rally now. So, we should see more momentum here. Just to balance out all the exuberance CG Power is a short sell only intraday, but it is a short.”

Ashwani Gujral’s stock picks are, “BHEL is a buy with a stop of Rs 75 target of Rs 82. Tata Motors (DVR) is a buy with a stop of Rs 89 target of Rs 96. Aurobindo Pharma is a buy with a stop of Rs 790 target of Rs 815.”

Rahul Shah’s stock ideas are, “I would go long on Biocon with a stop loss of Rs 615 and target of Rs 640. We have seen that financials has been in the front seat in last few sessions. I would go long in Axis Bank which is at 52 week high today so there is a stop loss of Rs 767 and target of Rs 805 and go long on Axis Bank. The dark horse Dewan Housing Finance Corporation, we have seen this stock languishing for quite sometime but last few sessions has been seen longs built up and it is consolidating between Rs 145-152 so the risk to reward could be favourable here after a long time. One should go long in Dewan Housing stop loss of Rs 147 and target of Rs 160.”
