Indian shares fell over 1 percent for the second consecutive session on Friday, dragged by Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) after its second-quarter performance failed to please investors, while non-banking finance companies continued to face selling pressure.

The Sensex closed down 1.33 percent at 34,315.63, shedding 1.2 percent over the week. The Nifty ended 1.43 percent lower at 10,303.55. It fell 1.6 percent during the week. Nifty Bank slipped 1.2 percent this week, while Nifty Auto lost maximum 4.3 percent.

Top gainers this week:
ITC: The FMCG major's shares gained 5 percent this week and also ended higher by 1.6 percent at Rs 291 on Friday.
Dr Reddy’s: The pharma shares ended 0.74 percent lower at Rs 2,546, but has gained 4 percent overall for the week.
Sun Pharma: Another pharma share gained 3.3 percent on a weekly basis and also closed as the second best stock on Friday, rising 2.59 percent to Rs 608.80.
Wipro: The IT firm's shares ended 0.39 percent higher at Rs 324.40, and also gained 2 percent up this week.
Cipla: The pharma company rose 1.6 percent this week, but ended Friday's trade lower at Rs 633.50, down by 1.09 percent.
Top losers this week:
Indiabulls Housing Finance: The NBFC's shares tanked 30 percent this week. The stock was the top loser on the Nifty, dipping more than 16 percent on Friday, closing at Rs 659.05.
Yes Bank: The private sector lender's shares settled at Rs 219.35, ending lower by 5.41 percent. For the week, the stock shed 11.6 percent.
Eicher Motors: The auto stock declined 9.5 percent this week. The share lost 1.18 percent on Friday as well, quoting at Rs 21,718.95 at the end.
Maruti Suzuki: India's largest automobile company's stock fell 7 percent on a weekly basis. It closed at Rs 6,760, down by 1.82 percent on Friday.
Bajaj Finserv: Another major NBFC stock shed 6.7 percent this week but ended the day with gains, quoting at Rs 5,437, up by more than a percent.
