Cipla shares gained over 3 percent in the opening trade on Friday, making it the top gainer on the Nifty 50, after it received establishment inspection report (EIR) from USFDA.

Cipla rose as much as 3.4 percent to hit the day's high of Rs 538.75 per share. At 10.50 AM, Cipla was quoting at Rs 534.25 pr share, up 2.5 percent on the NSE. In comparison, the Nifty 50 rose 0.36 percent to 11,639.70.
"We would like to inform you that following the inspection by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), the Company has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR), indicating closure of the inspection," the company said in a regulatory filing.
The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) had carried the inspection at the Goa manufacturing facility from 21-28 January, 2019.
