The Indian market is likely to open sharply lower on Friday following losses in global peers. At 7:20 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 198.50 points or 1.31 percent lower at 14,899.00, indicating a negative start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

Bank of Baroda | The bank has launched QIP worth Rs 4,500 crore at an issue price of Rs 81.70 per share with an option to upsize up to an additional Rs 2,000 crore.

HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank | The banks will acquire a 9.99 percent stake each in Ferbine Private Ltd, to operate a Pan-India Umbrella Entity (PUE) for retail payment systems.

Infosys | The IT services major said it will add 300 local jobs in Pennsylvania as part of its ongoing hiring plans in the US.

HCL Technologies | The company’s subsidiary HCL America Inc has approved a proposal for issuing senior unsecured notes of up to USD 500 million.

RailTel Corporation of India | The company will list its equity shares today. The issue price has been fixed at Rs 94 per share.

DHFL | The company has received no objection from the Reserve Bank and has filed an application with NCLT for submission of the resolution plan of Piramal Capital & Housing Finance.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers | The company has acquired 7.89 acres of land to develop a residential project in Bengaluru. The project will offer about 5 lakh sq ft of carpet area.

Ashok Leyland | The company has completed the acquisition of a 38 percent stake of Hinduja Tech Ltd from Nissan International Holding BV for Rs 70.2 crore.

Hatsun Agro Product |The company has commenced commercial production at Solapur facility, Maharashtra.

KSB | The company’s Q4CY20 net profit fell to Rs 32 crore from Rs 32.6 crore, while revenue rose to Rs 369.9 crore from Rs 337 crore, YoY. The company recommended a dividend of Rs 8.5 per share for the year ended December 2020.

Rain Industries | The company’s consolidated profit in Q4CY20 rose to Rs 321.98 crore from Rs 121.6 crore, while revenue fell to Rs 2,640.2 crore from Rs 2,830.38 crore, YoY.

Elecon Engineering | Promoter entity Prayas Engineering has released a pledge on 5.56 percent equity.

Vesuvius India |The company's Q4CY20 profit fell to Rs 16.24 crore from Rs 22.70 crore, while revenue rose to Rs 234.46 crore from Rs 228.09 crore, YoY.
