The Indian equity markets are likely to open higher on Tuesday. At 7:15 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 44.50 points or 0.38 percent higher at 11,752.00, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and Nifty50.
Tata Consultancy Services: The company has expanded its long-standing partnership with Walgreens Boots Alliance, a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy, to transform the latter's IT operating model. The contract is valued at over $1 .5 billion over a ten-year period.
Reliance Industries: The company said that new production from KG D6 Project is on track to start by mid-2020 enhancing the utilization of existing infrastructure. The peak production from three fields is expected to reach 1 cubic feet equivalent per day which is about 15 percent of the then envisaged India’s demand. JK Cement: The company successfully commissioned one million tonne per annum grey cement grinding capacity at Rajasthan, and 1.5 million tonne per annum grey cement grinding capacity at UP. The work of split grinding unit at Balasinor, Gujrat (of 0.7 MnTPA capacity) is in advanced stage of completion, the company said.
Deepak Nitrite: The company’s Q3FY20 profit jumped to Rs 157 crore from Rs 39.7 crore, while revenue rose 44.2 percent to Rs 1,119.9 crore YoY.
Affle India: Q3 profit increased 31.33 percent to Rs 21.45 crore, revenue rose 27.4 percent to Rs 94.46 crore, YoY.
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd: The company reported a net loss of Rs 661.16 crore in Q3FY20 as compared to profit of Rs 113.67 crore in the same period last year. Revenue dipped 5.7 percent to Rs 778.59 crore YoY.
Thyrocare Technologies: The company said that two centers of Nueclear Healthcare Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary, situated at Surat and Baroda have been closed due to unfair business practices by the franchisee. The company is seeking legal remedies.
GMR Infrastructure: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL) has signed the concession agreement to commission, pperationalise and maintain the civilian enclave at the Bidar Airport in north Karnataka. GHIAL is expected to start the airport operations in the first week of February 2020 with the operations of one daily flight connecting Bidar with Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka.
