The Indian market is likely to open higher on Friday tracking a positive trend in international peers. At 7:00 am, the SGX Nifty was trading 63.00 points or 0.44 percent higher at 14,273.00, indicating a positive start for the Sensex and Nifty50.

Tata Consultancy Services | The company will declare its December quarter earnings today.

Vodafone Idea | The company has moved the Supreme Court, claiming that there have been errors in the telecom department’s calculation of adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. Vodafone Idea, the worst hit by the AGR case ruling, owes over Rs 58,000 crore to the Centre.

Biocon | Subsidiary Biocon Biologics Ltd has approved a primary equity investment by Abu Dhabi-based ADQ. As per the terms of the proposed agreement, ADQ will invest Rs 555 crore for a 1.80 percent minority stake in the biosimilar business, valuing Biocon Biologics at a post-money valuation of USD 4.17 billion.

NTPC | The company has served notices to six states and two union territories for non-payment of dues, PTI reported. NTPC has also made it clear that it will be forced to shut-off or restrict power supply if they fail to clear their dues.

Tata Power | The company has completed the acquisition of a 51 percent equity stake each in TP Southern Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPSODL) and TP Western Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPWODL) for a consideration of Rs 127.50 crore and Rs 255 crore, respectively.

Punjab National Bank | The bank has partnered with IIT Kanpur and the Foundation for Innovation & Research in Science & Technology (FIRST) for establishing an innovation centre at the institute's campus.

Union Bank of India | The state-run lender has raised Rs 1,000 crore by issuing Basel III-compliant bonds on a private placement basis.

NHPC | National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Hyderabad bench approved NHPC’s Resolution Plan for taking over Jalpower Corporation. JPCL was executing a 120 MW Rangit Stage-IV Hydroelectric Project in Sikkim.

National Aluminium Company | The company will invest around Rs 30,000 crore by the financial year 2027-28 on expansion and diversification, federal Coal & Mines minister Pralhad Joshi said.

IDFC Ltd | Sipadan Investments (Mauritius) Ltd sold 8.26 crore shares of IDFC worth Rs 320.37 crore at an average price of Rs 38.76 apiece. In separate open market deals, 3.81 crore scrips of IDFC were picked up by Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte, Abakkus Emerging Opportunities Fund-1 and Avendus Absolute Return Fund at an average price of Rs 38.75 per share, the data showed.

Bharat Rasayan | The company’s board will consider the proposal of buyback of equity shares on January 12.

Sanghvi Brands | Rajesh Srinivas Bail resigned as Chief Executive Officer of the company.

AGC Networks | CRISIL has assigned a long-term credit rating for the company's bank loan facilities at BBB- and the outlook is stable.
