Dimensions Corporate remains upbeat on PVR after Maharashtra government allows outside food in multiplexes

Dimensions Corporate Financial Services remains upbeat on PVR after Maharashtra government allows outside food in multiplexes, said Ajay Srivastava, CEO.

"It will be struck down by law and will not stand legal scrutiny even one minute," said Srivastava.

The Maharashtra government on Friday announced that moviegoers will be free to carry outside food inside the multiplex from August 1.

On big fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, Srivastava said the growth has been triggered due to demand and share from the higher market.

The share from smaller players is increasing due to access to roads deep into the rural markets, he said., adding that the disappearance of the rural brands and regional brands has helped the top four FMCG companies.

In an environment which is so volatile, pharma is a good place to be in, Srivastava said.

"So keep investing in the topline pharma stocks and they will come back and claim the glory and give handsome returns, be patient," he added.
