09:17 AM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- US equity futures were mixed ahead of Monday's opening bell as traders digested earnings from Berkshire Hathaway ( BRK/A ) (BRK.A., BRK.B).
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were 0.1% lower, S&P 500 futures were up 0.3%, and Nasdaq futures were 0.7% higher.
Berkshire Hathaway ( BRK/A ) reported over the weekend higher Q3 earnings and revenue.
Key earnings due for release this week include Palantir ( PLTR ) , Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) , Astrazeneca ( AZN ) , Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , McDonald's (MCD), and Qualcomm ( QCOM ) , among others.
Oil prices were little changed, with front-month global benchmark North Sea Brent crude down 0.1% at $64.73 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude 0.1% lower $60.91 per barrel.
The S&P Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index, scheduled for release at 9:45 am ET, is expected to come in unchanged from the flash reading at 52.2 in the final October report, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
The Institute for Supply Management's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index, due at 10 am ET, is seen coming in at 49.4 in October versus 49.1 in the prior month.
In other world markets, Hong Kong's Hang Seng ended 1% higher, China's Shanghai Composite finished 0.6% higher, while the Japanese market was closed for holiday. The UK's FTSE 100 was down 0.02%, and Germany's DAX index was up 0.8% in Europe's early afternoon session.
In equities, IREN (IREN) shares were 21% higher after the company said it has secured a $9.70 billion GPU cloud services contract from Microsoft ( MSFT ) and a $5.80 billion deal with Dell Technologies ( DELL ) to purchase GPUs and related equipment.
On the losing side, UniQure ( QURE ) stock was down 59% after the company said it believes that the US Food and Drug Administration no longer considers its Huntington's disease therapy data adequate to support a biologics license application.
