European markets traded higher at the opening hour on Tuesday, October 31. The British FTSE was last trading flat. French CAC was trading 0.16% in the green. The biggest European market by volume, German DAX was trading 0.08% higher.

The European indices snapped two-day losing streak in the session on Monday, October 30. FTSE ended half a percent higher, while CAC ended 0.4% in the green.
The US markets ended sharply higher on Monday. Wall street indices gained over a percent in the previous session. Dow ended 1.58% down, while S&P and Nasdaq ended 1.20% and 1.16% lower, respectively.
Shares of the fast-food chain McDonald rose 2% on better-than-estimated third quarter results, while shares of ON Semiconductor Corp fell 15% on weak quarter four guidance.
The European markets are also taking cues from their Asian counterparts. Japan's Nikkei was trading 0.53% higher. China's Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng were trading marginally lower and 1.78% lower, respectively.
Global crude oil prices were last trading in the green, as tensions in the Middle East escalate, but remained below $90/bbl. Brent crude oil and WTI prices were trading 0.5% and 0.4% higher, each.
