European markets traded mixed at the opening hour on Monday. The British FTSE was last trading 0.2 percent lower. French CAC was trading 0.14% in the green. The biggest European market by volume, German DAX was trading marginally higher.

The European markets ended lower for the fourth straight session on Friday. Key indices fell up to 1.5% each.
The Wall Street indices ended sharply lower in the previous session. Dow ended 0.09% down, while S&P and Nasdaq ended 1.3% and 1.5% lower, respectively. All 11 S&P 500 indices ended lower led by tech and financials.
The US 10-year retreated after hitting 5% on Fed chair Jerome Powell's hawkish message.
The European markets are also taking cues from their Asian counterparts. Japan's Nikkei was trading 0.83% lower. China's Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng were trading 1.47% down and 0.72% lower, respectively.
The China CSI 300 hit its lowest level since February 2019.
Global crude oil prices were last trading in the red, as aid convoys reach Gaza strip helped ease prices. Brent crude oil and WTI prices were trading 0.27% and 0.42% higher, respectively.
