Energy
iShares US Energy ETF (IYE) and the Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) each gained 0.3%.
Technology
Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rose 0.2%; iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) and iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) each advanced.
SPDR S&P Semiconductor (XSD) fell 0.7%, and iShares Semiconductor (SOXX) rose 0.3% up.
Financial
Financial Select Sector SPDR (XLF) dropped 0.4%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) fell 1.1%, and its bearish counterpart, Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ), rose 1.2%.
Commodities
Crude oil and the United States Oil Fund (USO) each gained 1.9%. Natural gas eased 0.1%, and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) shed 0.3%.
Gold on Comex and SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) each were little changed. Silver dropped 0.9%, and iShares Silver Trust (SLV) lost 0.5%.
Consumer
Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (XLP) fell 1.3%; Vanguard Consumer Staples ETF (VDC) and the iShares Dow Jones US Consumer Goods (IYK) dropped.
Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR (XLY) and VanEck Retail ETF (RTH) were little changed, and SPDR S&P Retail (XRT) dropped.

Health Care Select Sector SPDR (XLV) lost 1.2%, and iShares US Healthcare (IYH) and Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT) declined. iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) fell 1.3%.
Industrial
Industrial Select Sector SPDR (XLI) lost 0.6%. Vanguard Industrials (VIS) and iShares US Industrials (IYJ) fell.
Cryptocurrency
In midday activity, bitcoin (BTC-USD) rose 0.1%. Among cryptocurrency ETFs, ProShares Bitcoin ETF ( BITO ) dropped 3.5%, ProShares Ether ETF ( EETH ) slipped 5%, and ProShares Bitcoin & Ether Market Cap Weight ETF ( BETH ) lost 4.2%.
