US equity indexes were higher as Nvidia's ( NVDA ) gains lifted the technology sector and investors weighed the impact of a ruling from the Court of International Trade on the Trump administration's tariff negotiations.
Energy
iShares US Energy ETF (IYE) and the Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) each gained about 0.1%.
Technology
Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rose 0.3%; iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) and iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) also edged higher.
SPDR S&P Semiconductor (XSD) fell 0.3%, and iShares Semiconductor (SOXX) climbed 0.7%.
Financial
Financial Select Sector SPDR (XLF) rose 0.2%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) gained 0.4%, and its bearish counterpart, Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ), lost 0.3%.
Commodities
Crude oil dipped 1.2%, and the United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 0.9%. Natural gas fell 1.9%, and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) lost 2.3%.
Gold was 0.8% higher on Comex, and SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) gained 0.8%. Silver was up 0.8%, and iShares Silver Trust (SLV) rose 1%.

Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (XLP) was 0.1% higher; Vanguard Consumer Staples ETF (VDC) and the iShares Dow Jones US Consumer Goods (IYK) also edged higher.
Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR (XLY) rose 0.3%; VanEck Retail ETF (RTH) was up 0.3%, while SPDR S&P Retail (XRT) was down 0.7%.
Health Care
Health Care Select Sector SPDR (XLV) added 0.3%, iShares US Healthcare (IYH) and Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT) also rose. IShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) advanced 1.4%.

Industrial Select Sector SPDR (XLI) was up 0.1%. Vanguard Industrials (VIS) and iShares US Industrials (IYJ) were higher.
