05:55 AM EDT, 05/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Monthly average crude oil prices declined month-over-month in February, with the average domestic crude oil first purchase price down 4.2% to US$70.11/barrel, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said in its Petroleum Marketing Monthly report released on Thursday.
The average free-on-board cost of imported crude oil dropped 4.3% to US$63.61/b, while the average landed cost of foreign crude oil fell 2.6% to US$67.59/b, the EIA said.
The average refiner acquisition cost for domestic crude oil was down 2.8% to US$74.11/b. The average cost of imported crude declined 2% to US$71.25/b, according to the agency.
